I have a 9 year old whom I am dealing with the same issues. We are to the point where the school is ready to kick us out. His teacher just sends him to the office because "she cant take any more". This breaks my heart. Last night I said to my partner; he is bored out of his mind. Like your son my son is highly intelligent. He has a 9th grade reading level and 6th grade math. His teacher gives him 10 spelling words like cry and night. I had to call the principal and voice my concerns. My sons next visit they are talking about medicating him; I am so scared for this to happen; but we are just at a loss. Everything you described is what I deal with in my life. I would like to stay in contact with you; there are times when I really feel alone, like when they are threatening my job because the school called again.
